Picking the right DJ was important to us because of our love for music and how we wanted to share our special moments that with our guests, it’s safe to say we made the right decision. Throughout the whole wedding process, Josh made it more than easy. He will work with your schedule, coordinator, and all your playlist music needs. We were happy to have the ability to choose the music we wanted to play and the times we wanted to play it. We initially thought our schedule was going to be to much to keep up with, but Josh knocked it out of the park. The quality of service, attention to detail and all around entertainment value was wonderful. Josh truly is an amazing DJ!

Thank you to DJ Stix for going above and beyond what we asked for!! Josh provided an upbeat and fun environment, paid close attention to our timeline, pushed the guestbook signing, and worked extra on some last minute song requests. All of this attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we heard all night how much of a hit you were with our guests! We’ve been listening to our playlist since our wedding day, smiling about the memories made with each song!

Josh set us up with the acoustic guitar talent of Chris Dodson for our ceremony music. He so kindly even learned a new song, special to my family, so that my groom and I could reflect and pray for the first time married. This was so important to not just us but touched all my family.

Josh Walker, aka DJ Stix, was the DJ/Entertainment/Performer for my daughter’s, Annmarie Sigler, wedding this past weekend. While he came highly recommended, I had never witnessed his awesomeness in person. He did not disappoint and actually surpassed my expectations. Not only is he extremely talented, easy to work with, flexible and accommodating, he is the nicest person. It is easy to see within minutes of meeting him that this is not only a job for him … it’s his passion. Thank you for an amazingly fun night for my baby girl and her husband.

He just did our wedding on the 10th ! And did a great job , had positive vibes and even came on the dance floor to dance with us ! I booked him after seeing him work my friends wedding ! , I definitely recommend!

I had my wedding Sept 4, 2021 and Josh was the best! I’ve had my fair share of DJ experiences and he is by far the best DJ I have experienced! The way he interacted with the crowd was amazing! But I won’t leave out that he got up and danced too! It was the best day and he went above and beyond to make it so much more enjoyable!

DJ Stix was very responsive from the start. I never had to wait to hear back from him. He gave me a list of things to provide him so I wasn’t overwhelmed or lost on how the flow of the wedding and reception would go, which made the process very easy. We danced the entire night! There wasn’t a moment where someone wasn’t cutting up on the dance floor! I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on my DJ choice from family and friends who attended the wedding. Truthfully, at this point I’m looking for another excuse to book DJ Stix again! Thank you so much!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST! From beginning to end, he made the experience so easy- talked through the process up front, worked through our event planner, and sent reminders when due dates were approaching.

EVENT DAY: we threw him several curve balls (unintentionally!!) and he smiled his way through and was a true professional. Our planned order of events and timing got thrown out the window and Josh was flexible and ran off cues to make it seamless. He worked hard to get our guests of all ages up and dancing and kept a line of communication to make sure I was comfortable if he played what he thought would be best for the vibes. I trusted him entirely and he did not let us down!

Josh was amazing and exceeded all expectations! He followed the outline perfectly for all of the songs and timings listed for our ceremony and formal dances at the beginning of the reception. Josh asks that you create a playlist of songs that you like and uses that to choose songs that fit the crowd at the reception. He did an amazing job reading the room and playing a mix of songs that everyone could dance to as well as songs that were more catered to our friends once some of the older family went home. We used the package including uplighting and it definitely added to the dance club atmosphere that we requested. My family are huge Carolina fans and he even played sandstorm for us!
